The role of OMG Performance is to support preparation without disruption. By using steam extrusion and carefully selected ingredients, energy is delivered in a form that can be utilised in the small intestine, allowing the hindgut to remain dedicated to forage fermentation, just as the horse’s digestive system is designed to function.
OMG Performance is typically used for a short window prior to events such as barrel racing, roping, jumping, eventing, or demanding training blocks. Once the period of higher demand has passed, horses return to Thrive Feed as their everyday ration to maintain long term nutritional balance.
Formulation Philosophy
OMG Performance is built around controlled energy delivery rather than stimulation. Sorghum provides a fully cooked, rapidly available starch source, supporting energy needs without reliance on raw starch entering the hindgut. Red beet powder contributes natural phytonutrients traditionally associated with circulation support, while moderate fat inclusion from extruded soy and rice bran provides additional calories without overwhelming the digestive system or altering temperament.
Protein is supplied through dehydrated alfalfa meal to support tissue maintenance during periods of increased work. Typical Use
